This unique datathon experience will be composed of teams made up of both Fulton Bank employees and Penn Students to come up with insights and recommendations for Fulton Bank using their data around selected business challenges in HR, Operations, Consumer, Commercial, and Finance.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Datathons are open competitions. All Penn and Wharton undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to participate. Technical skills (i.e., Python) and/or subject matter expertise are not required but are a plus.
HOW IT WORKS
- Choose from five projects – consumer and small business, Fulton Financial Advisors, information technology, marketing, or risk management. Each project poses a unique business challenge, and it's your job to help solve it!
- All teams require at least three members, with no more than five members per team. Once formed, teams can choose to remain student-only, or partner with Fulton Bank employees.
- Request to join an employee-sponsored team or form your own student-only team.
- You'll have one week to analyze Fulton Bank's data and come up with an innovative and implementable solution.
- Submissions are due on March 31, 2022. Teams will submit short video presentations (10 minutes max), PowerPoint deck, and code to UPenn Canvas. Judges will determine 3-5 finalist teams.
- On April 1st, finalists will present their findings to the judges and compete for the top-three prizes!
FINAL PRESENTATIONS
The Datathon Final Presentations are in-person on Friday, April 1st, at Steinberg-Dietrich Hall 351. (3620 Locust Walk,Philadelphia, PA 19104). You will be notified if your team has been accepted as a finalist via email on Thursday, March 31st.

IMPORTANT DATES
- Tuesday, March 1-Thursday, March 17 – Applications accepted, teams notified of acceptance
- Friday, March 18th – Datathon Kickoff Webinar – One student from each team is required to attend the webinar with Fulton Bank at 12 p.m. ET to discuss project logistics and objectives.
- Monday, March 21 – From 12-1 p.m. ET, individual team meetings with each business unit to present projects, data, and background.
- Thursday, March 31 – Final submissions due at 9 a.m. ET – submit short video presentation, PowerPoint deck, and code to UPenn. Finalist teams are announced that afternoon.
- Friday, April 1 – Datathon finalist presentations and awards ceremony from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. ET.
